Situated in the middle of the fabulous Abondance valley La Chapelle is only 65kms from Geneva. The village has an enviable reputation for gastromonie and has two excellent ski areas. Cret Beni on the back side of the Mont de Grange is north facing has superb terrain for beginners and intermediates and some superb off piste for expert skiers. Braitaz on the south facing side of the valley gives direct access, via a six person telecabine, to Torgon on the Swiss side, Super Chatel and the rest of the enormous Portes du Soleil domain.
