Booking Terms & Conditions

  1. Deposit & Booking
    All bookings are made with Dale K T/A Ski Addiction Chalet Peloton ( the company ). To book your holiday first check availability with our office. Then complete our online booking form. Preferably forward your non-refundable deposit by BACS transfer to our given bank account. We recommend everyone in the group have adequate winter sports insurance cover. Your deposit forms part of your accommodation payment. A contract shall come into force once the client has received our booking confirmation. Any queries regarding the confirmation must be taken up immediately.
  2. Payment
    The company must receive the balance of your holiday no later than 8 weeks prior to departure, preferably by BACS transfer. If the balance is not settled by this date we reserve the right to cancel your holiday. Any bookings received within 8 weeks of departure must be accompanied by payment in full.
  3. Client Cancellation
    Should any guests be unable to travel due to government Covid / Coronavirus restrictions then affected guests will be offered a credit carried over to a future holiday or a full refund.
    If you decide to cancel your holiday, you should inform us in writing. The cancellation will not become effective until we receive written confirmation, preferably by recorded delivery.
    The following cancellation charges will then apply. 56 days or more to departure deposit only.55 - 36 days 50% of balance. 35 - 21 days 75% of balance. Less than 20 days 100%.
  4. Client Insurance Cover
    It is a condition of booking that you take out adequate winter sports insurance before the company will accept your booking; in respect of personal injury, medical and repatriation expenses, together with adequate public liability (3rd party) indemnity insurance. If you prefer to take out your own winter sports policy this must be at least as comprehensive as the insurance offered by the company.
  5. Cancellation & Alteration
    In the unlikely event that the company has to alter or cancel the holiday, the client shall be notified as soon as possible and offered a comparable holiday or full refund. We are unable to accept responsibility for any aspect of your holiday not directly under our control, such as loss, damage, injury or delay caused by an airline, ferry, or eurotunnel. In the unlikely event of a missed return flight departure the company does not accept any responsibility due to any road traffic hold ups or 3rd party road accidents on route to your departure airport.
  6. Damage, Loss & Liability
    The company accepts no liability for any accidents where so ever caused or for the actions of its clients and will not be responsible for any claim made against them. The client shall be responsible for any damage or loss made by themselves or their children (under 18) which occurs whilst on holiday and will settle all costs associated with the damage / loss in resort prior to departure. All luggage & personal effects are at all times the clients risk.
  7. Skiing or Snowboarding with Ski Addiction
    When skiing or snowboarding with a company guide, whether as an organised session or not, Ski Addiction cannot take responsibility for any injuries howsoever caused. Skiing and Snowboarding is entirely at the clients risk. To get the most from your skiing and snowboarding we recommend tuition and also a good level of fitness prior to your holiday.
  8. Refunds
    No refunds will be made in respect of unused travel, accommodation, meals or ski pass. All information regarding your holiday with us is given in good faith and to the best of Ski Addictions knowledge accurate.
  9. Prices
    Our prices have been calculated at the rate of £1.00 = 1.12 € (euros). Should the value of the pound fluctuate unfavourably the company guarantee that the price increases will be limited to £20.00 per person. This will not apply once your final balance has been paid. Should the value of the pound move in our favour the client will not be entitled to a refund
  10. Behaviour
    We reserve the right to terminate the holiday of any of our clients who in our opinion is causing or likely to cause, annoyance or danger to any of our clients, employees, and / or damage to property. Should a situation arise, the person(s) will be required to leave their accommodation immediately. We will have no further responsibility toward such person(s) including any return travel arrangements. No refunds will be made and the company will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination. Clients are required to pay all in resort costs, such as tuition, ski hire and ski passes etc. on arriving in resort.
  11. Miscellaneous
    Our Chalet and hotels have been selected for the convenience of their situation. From time to time there may be some late night noise due to après ski revellers or early morning snowploughs. We recommend you pack earplugs just in case!
  12. Smoking
    For safety reasons and also courtesy toward to non-smokers Chalet Peloton has a no smoking policy.
  13. Ski Pass Purchase & Ski Equipment Rental
    To benefit from Ski Addiction's complimentary in resort vehicle service and ski guiding operation, we would kindly ask that all ski hire and lift pass requirements are organised through the company. Ski Addiction has an account with the lift company and has the facility of pre organising and issuing ski passes prior to client arrival. Payment required in cash or credit card on arrival in resort. Ski Addiction has negotiated competitive equipment hire discounts at our partner rental shops (Richard Sport in Chatel and JMC Sport 2000 in La Chapelle D'Abondance) for all guests.
