The Abondance valley is one of the closest alpine ski areas to drive to from the UK. Whether you choose Eurotunnel or P&O ferries the 8 hour journey to Châtel & La Chapelle D'Abondance is mostly all motorway. Take as much luggage as you like and you also have the flexibility of your vehicle in resort.

Why not break your return journey in Burgundy, Alsace or the Champagne region and sample / buy some local products !
