New for the 2008 season. A fast detachable 6 man replaces the old slow 2 and 3 man chairs at Cret Beni. It will be in 2 stages, first stage to just above the restaurant and beginners area and the second stage from opposite the restaurant to the top. Ready for Xmas 07.

Situated in the middle of the fabulous Abondance valley La Chapelle is only 65kms from Geneva. The village has an enviable reputation for gastromonie and has two excellent ski areas. Cret Beni on the back side of the Mont de Grange is north facing has superb terrain for beginners and intermediates and some superb off piste for expert skiers. Braitaz on the south facing side of the valley gives direct access, via a six person telecabine, to Torgon on the Swiss side, Super Chatel and the rest of the enormous Portes du Soleil domain.

Stay at our catered Chalet Peloton 350 metres from the Braitaz telecabine ideal for groups of friends or families. Alternatively we can offer the superb Logis de France Hotel L'Ensoleille** in the centre of the village or the Hotel Chabi** situated close to the telecabine.

The village is home to the renowned Fer Rouge micro brewery, which has a Happy Hour from 6 - 7pm every night, and the Routards du Monde pizzeria both very popular apres ski haunts.
